Bonus Ball Bingo Fundraiser

We’re running a Bonus Ball Bingo to raise funds towards helping young folk to participate as trainees onboard sail training vessels in The Tall Ships Races 2023, including the Swan, this summer.

The more players we can get to participate, the bigger the prize pot will be, so many thanks in advance for your support.

Please spread the word and get your crew mates, family, friends and work colleagues involved.

Here’s a quick run down of the rules:

• The entry fee is £10 per person, per line.
• You choose 4 individual numbers between 1 and 59, NO duplicates. These are your ‘Bingo’ numbers.
• Numbers are drawn each week by the National Lottery main draws on both Wednesday and Saturday. The bonus ball for each draw is used as the ‘Bingo’ call.
• The first number will be drawn on Saturday, 22 April 2023.
• The first person to win ‘Bingo’ by marking off all four of their chosen numbers wins a prize.
• 50% of the final prize pot goes to the winner with the other 50% going to Sail Training Shetland.
• The prize fund will be split if more than one person wins on the same week.

Here’s how to enter:

• You need to pick your numbers and add them to BINGO SHEET ENTRY FORM.
• All entries must include a name, contact number and your 4 bingo numbers.
• Hit ‘Submit Form’, or:
  • Email your completed Bingo Sheet to [email protected]
  • Direct message Sail Training Shetland’s Facebook page with the completed Bingo Sheets.
• Monday, 17 April 2023 is the deadline for getting your numbers in.

How to pay for your entries:

• By cash – handed into Lerwick Port Authority offices, Albert Building, Esplanade, Lerwick. cash, with your completed Bingo Sheet/s.
• By Bank Transfer to Sail Training Shetland’s Account 00619774, Sort Code 83-24-22. You need to include the first name on the entry sheet as the payment reference.

Winners will be contacted directly and announced through our Facebook page.
