Cormac scoops Sail Trainee of the Year 2018 trophy

Seventeen year old Cormac Mathieson from Virkie has won The Swan Trust Sail Trainee of the Year.

Out of 19 other trainees who took part in this year's Tall Ships Races onboard Swan, Cormac was presented the Vevoe Trophy by Aubrey Jamieson of the Fishermens mission, who made special mention of the qualities and abilities that he brought to the sucess of the voyage. Cormac took part in Race One of The Tall Ships Races 2018 between Sunderland, UK and Esbjerg, Denmark.
